01 — What this is

SELLME.LOL sells advertising placements on a 3D scan of one person: me, Alex. Twelve surfaces are open. What you buy is your mark on the scan for as long as you hold the surface — from the moment I approve your logo until someone pays more, or until the drop closes, whichever comes first. Holding it at the close adds the final render. It does not buy any right over my actual body, my likeness outside this project, or any other drop.

The face and proportions come from photographs of me; the surface detail is generated. Nothing here is a tattoo, and nothing here is permanent.

02 — The auction

Every surface carries an opening price. Any surface can be taken from its current holder for €10 over the standing bid, by anyone, at any time while the drop is open. There is no reserve beyond the opening price and no proxy bidding: the amount you enter is the amount you bid.

Whoever holds a surface when the drop closes takes it. The closing time is shown on the board and in the countdown. A bid placed in the final minutes does not extend the clock.

Bids settle in euros. Dollar figures shown anywhere on the site are an indicative conversion for reading convenience only and are not the amount charged.

03 — Payment, and what is not refunded

Placing a bid charges your card the full amount of the bid, once, at the moment you place it. Nothing is held back and nothing is charged later. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site's servers.

What that payment buys is the time your mark spends on the body. It goes up as soon as I have approved the logo, turns with the scan, links out to your URL, and every click on it is counted in public — for as long as you hold the surface.

Being outbid does not refund you. Someone paying €10 more takes the surface from that point on; it does not undo the days your mark was on it, and those days are what you paid for. The same applies at the close: the holder at close additionally receives everything in section 04, and everyone who held the surface earlier keeps the exposure they bought. There is no partial refund, no pro-rating and no credit toward a later drop.

Two things are refunded in full, to the card that paid: a logo I decline under section 05, and a drop I cancel outright. Both are returned through Stripe; how quickly it shows on your statement is your bank's business, usually a few days.

Placements are sold to businesses for advertising. Performance of the service begins the moment a mark is approved and displayed, which is what you are asking for when you bid.

04 — What you receive

Every approved bid puts your mark on the scan, turning with it, linking out to a URL you supply, with every click on it counted in public — for as long as you hold the surface. That much is bought by the payment itself.

The rest of this section is what the holder at close additionally receives.

At close, each winning mark is printed as a fake transfer tattoo and worn on my skin for a single shoot day. Each winning surface also receives printed boxers, a large-format print of the final render, and the photographs of the mark worn. The tattoos are temporary transfers and come off the same day. Nobody is getting inked.

The proceeds of this drop pay for one trip to Bora Bora, French Polynesia, where the shoot day happens: the winning marks are worn there and photographed, and the photographs are sent to everyone in the drop. If the trip cannot happen, the shoot day happens anyway, elsewhere, and everyone still receives the photographs. The pictures are the promise, the island is the plan. A yacht for the shoot is a stated hope if the drop raises enough for one, nothing more: no bid buys it and no bid is refunded for its absence.

There is no guarantee of traffic, clicks, impressions, coverage or sales. Figures cited elsewhere on the site describe other people's projects and are not a forecast of yours.

05 — Artwork, and what gets refused

You supply a PNG. By uploading it you confirm you own it or are licensed to use it, and you grant me the right to display, reproduce and render it on the scan, in the final render, and in images of this project, for as long as the project exists.

Your mark goes up as soon as the payment clears — there is no approval queue in front of it, because you paid to be on the body now and not when I next check my phone. Nothing adult, gambling, political, hateful, misleading or fraudulent belongs there, and moderation is what happens after: any mark can be taken down and refunded in full without explanation, at any time, including after it has appeared on the board and been seen.

Brand names shown in placeholder mode are illustrative only and indicate no affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship. All trademarks belong to their owners.

06 — Your data

Bidding collects an email address, a brand name, a destination URL and an optional handle. The email is used to confirm your bid, tell you when you are outbid, and settle at close — nothing else, and it is not sold or passed on. Payment data is held by Stripe under their terms. Ask and I will delete what I hold, once any open bid of yours is settled.

07 — The rest

This is one person running one project, not a marketplace with a support department. The site may go down, a render may break, and a drop may be cancelled outright — in which case every payment taken for it is refunded in full. Beyond refunding what you paid, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

These terms are governed by French law. If a clause is unenforceable the rest still stands.
